S.M. COURT. (From Our Own Correspondent.) On Wednesday, before Mr. Kenrick, S.M., judgment for plaintiffs by default in the following cases was given: Richard O'Byrne v. A. Wisnewski, £lB, and costs £1 13s 6d; A. N. Franklyn v. J. A. Martin, 12s (id. A number were either confessed, adjourned, or struck out. Nicholls and Son were non-suited in a claim for £lB 15s 5d against J. J. Hills. Mr. Patterson for plaintiff, and Mr. Spenee for defendant. Judgment summons:—L. W. Rolston v., B. Wine'.vski, £1 IDs lOd; orderea to pay account forthwith, in default seven days in Wanganui Prison. Police cases:—A first offending drunkard was fined os; a prohibition order was granted against a resident for twelve months, and an application for a similar order against another resident was adjourned for one month.
