RIFLE SHOOTING

A MELBOURNE MEETING. By Cable—Press Association—Copyright. Received 10, 8.5 p.m. Melbourne, Last Night. At the Jubilee Meeting of the Rifle Association, Ellis (Victoria) won the Members' Match with a score of i) 0, Evles (New Zealand) being second with 49. It is considered very likely in well-in-formed rille shooting circles (says the 'New Zealand Times) that a team will be sent Home next year to compete for the Kolapore Cup, and incidentally to take part in the Coronation celebrations. The Bisley meeting opens in July, while the Coronation takes place a month earlier, so that next year is very opportune for the sending of a team. New Zealand lias sent four teams to compete at Bislev—in 1597, 11)02, liMIl and lilflj. The 1901 team was commanded by Colonel Collins and won the Kolapore Cup competition.
