RUNNING RELAY RACE.

WAITARA TO NEW PLYMOUTH. The following are the teams to take part in the High School boys' relay race to-day from Waitara to New Plymouth, each boy running a mile: — First "mile (steward, Mr. .W. Lints); Vic.kers, Kelly, Simpson, Kirkby, Healy; second mile (steward,' Mr. W. Griffiths): Warren. Whitton, Teed, Chong, Bendall; third mile (Mr. R. Deare): Goss, Newell, Brown, O'Brien, Mander; fourth mile (Mr. Ryder): Hamblyn, Throssell, Adlam. Little, Bacon; fifth mile (Mr. W. T. Hook ham): Brokenshire, Burkhardt, West, Richards, Little; sixth mile (Mr.' W. Boucher): Gibson, Grey, Fordyce, Skelton, Colson; seventh mile (Mr. L. B. Webster): Leach, Howell. Western, Mason, Bruce; eighth mile, Egmont road to Waiwakaiho (Mr. J. Hayden): Day, Molloy. Salt, Linn, Crone; ninth mile, Waiwakaiho to Hospital road (Mr. H. H. 'Ward): Clarke, Xorris, Bayly. Sinclair, Thomson: last mile, to "Red Post" (Mr. X\ K. McDiarmid): Martin, Pott, Grant, Lusk and Billing. The race starts at 3.1") p.m. from Waitara, anil the bnvs should arrive at the finishing post shortly before 4.30 p.m. The boys will, when their distance has been covered, cycle home. There are no prizes, the boys racing for the honor of winning.
