The steamer Makura, which has just arrived at Vancouver, reports that the volcano Savaii at Samoa is again active, causing destruction to sealers' property. A RUSSIAN EXTRADITED. ' Received 19, 11.20 p.m. Vancouver, October 19. Kederouka, a Russian revolutionist, has been extradited at Winnipeg on a charge of murder. American sympathisers subscribed 1000 dollars to defend the case, alleging that political motives were behind the charge. MUSICIAN COMMITS SUICIDE. Received 20, 12.30 a.m. Melbourne, Last Night. Mr. Pola Mountain, a well-known tenor and music teacher, committed suicide with a revolver in Allen's music warehouse. He was suffering from nerve trouble. j» ■
