REPEALING RESTRICTIVE MEASURES. By Cable.—Press London; October 10. The Refrigeration Congress has adopted a resolution urging countries which do not produce sufficient meat for their own consumption to repeal measures excluding refrigerated meat. Mr. Robinson, Agent - General for Queensland, Sir W. Hall-Jones (New Zealand), and Mr. Coghlan (New South Wales) supported the proposals, also Russia, Argentine, United States and others. The Agents-General have request *1 Austria to allow trial shipments to be made of Australian meat.
