IMPERIAL MEAT SUPPLY. By Telegraph.—Press Association. Wellington, Yesterday. The Imperial Government is inviting tenders for the supply of fresh meat amd live cattle at Malta and Gozo equal to 250,000 lb. dead meat, with a'further provision of an equal amount if so desired ,£pr twelve months from January 1 next.' Tenders must be in by November 8. A BRIDEGROOM DISAPPEARS. Auckland, Yesterday. Robert Walton, aged 22, employed iby a coal 1 merchant at Newmarket, is reported to. have been missing since Tuesday afternoon. Walton was to have been married yesterday afternoon.
