TARANAKI ASSOCIATION. The annual meeting of the Taranaki Lawn Tennis Association was held on Wednesday evening, when there were present: Messrs. F. S. Johns (in the chair), J. C, Nicholson, W. <H. Broome, F. J. Easther, H. u Stocker and j 1 ! Jaton. The, annual report and balance-sheet, which was adopted, showed «, credit balance of £l7 2s Id, which was considered exceedingly satisfactory. Weir, Hume, Young, Swanson and Denniskn be re-appointed the Association's de'egates on the New Zealand Associatio.i.

Th# question of, the Association's representation on the New ZeaJiand Asso-' ciation was fully discussed. Eventually! it was decided to leave the matterin the hands of a sub-committee consisting of Messrs. J. Paton, H. Stocker and| F. S. Johns.
