A CONTESTANT INJURED. By Telegraph,—Press Association. Napier, Last Night. At the professional wrestling match held here this evening, F. Czar (Napier) v. Joe Gardiner (London), Gardiner was injured after lOmin. 29sec, by Czar getting a by-leg-and-hand hold, throwing his opponent over his shoulder. Gardiner, failing to get his hands free, fell on his headj twisting the cartilege of his neck. He was quite unable to continue, and- was carried from the stage. The referee gave a decision in favor of Czar, but the promoters re-, fused to hand over the stakes.
