PTOMAINE POISONING. By Talagrapk—Praia Association. Auckland, Lost Night A fatal case of ptomaine poisoning has occurred in the Mt. Boskill district Mr. and' Mrs. Robt. Salmon, with their tiro Bone, were spending yesterday afternoon on the Manukau beach, and during t/he afternoon boiled some pipi| in a tin and ate these. One of the boys, Claude, about twelve years old, was taken ill, and finally a doctor waa called in. The case, however, proved fatal,, the boy dying this morning. The obher boy was also taken ill, tot his case is not likely to prove faital.
