QUEENSLAND BUSH FIRES. Brisbane, September 13. Destructive bush fires are raging in the Winton district, and many sheep have been burned. MYSTERIOUS CATTLE DISEASE. Hobart, September 13. The Government veterinary reports that the mysterious disease which caused many deaths of cattle in the midland districts is identical with the shee.p disease known as "louping ill." FOOT AND MOUTH DISEASE Melbourne, September 13. The Federal Government has removed the prohibition on the importation ot cattle; sheep, and swine from Britain imposed owing to the outbreaks of foot and month disease.
