PAINFUL SENSATION AT MASTERTON. By Telegraph.—Press Association. Masterton, Saturday. A painful sensation was caused at Masterton this morning by the discovery of the body of Miss Maud Bunny in the lake at Lansdowne. Deceased is reported to have suffered a severe disappointment some time ago which preyed upon her mind and impaired her health. Yesterday afternoon she went out at 4.30 and left a letter which caused her relatives great uneasiness. The police were communicated Tvith, and a search commenced last night and was continued this mornmg ; when the body was discovered at C.30. Deceased was 40 years of age.
