FIRES.
BAKEHOUSE BURNT. By Telegraph.—Presa Association. Auckland, Last Night. Fire destroyed Mr. H J. Ashby's bakehouse and stables at the coiner of View Road and Dominion Road at midnight on Saturday. Ashby had insurances amounting to £520 on his stock and plant. The property is owned by James Walters, who is out of town. His insurances, if any, are unknown. INCENDIARISM AT TEMUKA. Timaru, Saturday. The vicarage at Temuka was destroyed by fire early this morning. The building, which was unoccupied, was on fire a fortnight ago. The fire was then extinguished before much damage was done. The insurance is £SOO. This is the sixth fire in Temuka in three weeks, and residents are becoming perturbed at the repeated acts of incendiarism.
