Money, of Christchurch, in addition to large sums left to religious and charitable institutions in England and to numerous relatives and friends, the following local institutions benefit:—Consumption sanatorium, £100; Children's Home, New Brighton, £200; Society for the protection of women and children, £100; Salvation Army prison gate mission, £100; Salvation Army Resuce Home, £100; Salvation Army Maternity! Home, £100; \.M.C.A., £200; Christchurch Prison Gate Mission, £200; Mayor's Coal and Blanket Fund, £100; S.P.C.A., £6O; Church' of England Maori Mission fund, £SO.
