LADIES' TOURNAMENT. By Telegraph.—Press Association. Nelson, Last Night. The ladies' hookey tournament was continued to-day. The Greymouth v. Westport match was drawn, each side scoring one goal, Iboth in the second spell. The scorers were, Miss. Lindsay for Greymouth', and Miss French for Westport. Wairarapa achieved 1 an easy victory over Wellington B by 5 goals to nil, the scorers being Misses Easfchope (2), Humphries, Ashton and Gazeley. Auckland defeated Taranaki by 4 goals to 3, after a well-contested match. Auckland scorers were Miss Roberts (2), and Miss Daines (2). Taranaki scored a goal after a scramble in the circle at the end of the first spell, and a second and a third were scored by Miss McEwan. • i. ■*•■•.;— U:-wW^.;. Hawke's Bay preserved their record against Wellington, .winning a match in which splendid hockey was shown, by 2 to nil. The scorers were Misses Pitt and Crownley. Nelson defeated Otago iby 2 goals to 1, after the most exciting match of the day. The Nelson scoTers were Misses Fowler and Emms, and Miss Park scored I Otago's goal.
