THE TARANAKI TEAM. iStill another alteration has been made in tile team to play Auckland on Saturday. J. Martin, the Opunake forward, has sprained an ankle, and 1 has been replaced by Ward (Tuteapa). Of the team originally intended to play Auckland, five —Pini, Smith, Martin, Roberts and McLeod—are unable to go,-while the emergency forward, Milne, cannot obtain leave, and the emergency back at first chosen (Franklin) was passed over after the Wellington match.
