Sim 96—16—-SO tied for the Stroke Handicap. In tile Manawatu championship, A. Strang beat Stodnian, Imlay Saunders (Wangnnui) beat Ilarman, *S. Tyerman [•(Woodville) beat Barraud (Manawatu Club champion), Druce beat Moore, Kurupo Tareha (I-lawke's Bay) beat Harden, Biitterworth (Wangamii) bear R. P. Abraham, Cheroot beat O'Reilly. In the second, round. Saunders beat Strang, Druce beat. Tyerman, Tareha beat Butterworth, Bevan beat Cheroot, j The golf championship won by Miss CoVn l * i.t f'hristchurch has material good as well as honour and glory.
