AUSTRALASIAN CHAMPIONSHIPS. By Telegraph.—Press Association. Auckland, Saturday. The competitors taking part in the Australasian amateur boxing championships, which will take place here nexi Friday and Saturday, are the pick of the boxers from New South Wales, Queensland, Victoria, and New Zealand. New South Wales is sending five representatives under the management of Mr. V. Horniman, Queensland three under Mr. Hinchy, Victoria one, while New Zealand will have thirteen representatives. The full list of competitors is as follows: •Bantam-weight.—M. Hogan (Q.), J. King (N.S.W.), B. Ellis (Wellington),! T. O'Brien (Auckland). Feather-weight—T. M'Laughlin (Q.), J. Read (N.S.W.), W. D. Sheeldsi (Manawatu), Hegerty (Timaru). Light-weight.—F. A. Lacey (N.S.W.).j R. Simpson (Christchurch), L. O'Halloran and J. G. Thomson (Auckland). Welter-weight.—W. Shaw (N.S.W.),' G. Watchorn (Manawatu), F. Holt and G. Olsen (Auckland). Middle-weight.—E. Watson (N.S.W.), G. Matthewson (Otago). Heavy-weight.—W. Nott (Q.), E. P. Doran (Vic), A. Pooley and C. Savoury (Auckland). Mr. Doran, the Victorian representative arrived by the Main Trunk express to-day, having come via Wellington. The balance of the Australian representatives will arrive by the steamer Maheio from Sydney on Sunday.
