Lady Lucy is suffering from a severe cold. Received August 29, 12.30 a.m. Sydney, Last Night. Master Soult has a lacerated wound and a severe bruise under the knaa. The wound will probably yield to veterinary treatment The bruise is more serious, and it will not be known for several days whether his training for the Randwick will have to be suspended more than temporarily. Yesterday he was walking on three legs. To-day he is able to put the fourth to the ground. Lady Lucy is suffering from pneumonia' and is very ill. Duke Foote, a Melbourne Cup aspirant, is suffering from trouble in the coronet. of a fore foot. To-day he is evidently better. *
I Received August 29, 12.25 a.m. Sydney, Last Night. Neil Clow has been scratched for the St. Leger. SUCCESS OF A NEW ZEALAND HORSE. • Received August 29, 12.30 a.m. Melbourne, Last Night. At the Williamstown races, Broadsword, a New Zealander, won the Seaside Handicap (six furlongs) in the record time for the course of lmin 15sec. Broadsword is engaged for the Epsom meeting and will carry 7st 81b. in the Metropolitan Handicap, and Gst 101b in the Caulfidd Cup.
