The Labor correspondent of the Manchester Guardian says that Mr. LloydGeorge's railway conciliation scheme is on the verge of collapse. The executive of the Amalgamated Society of Railway Servants is urging patience. •Mr. Sidney Buxton unavailingly endeavored to promote an understanding between the companies and the men. Unless this is soon, reached, the men will, repudiate conciliation regardless of consequences. Describing the genesis of the Osborne judgment, the correspondent states that Osborne complained of the endeavors of the Socialist group to capture the railway societies' funds for men they disapproved of. Of the 84,000 members, only 12.000 were now paying voluntarily a shilling a year towards their representatives in the House.
