DEATH OF MILAN. By Cable.—Press Association.—Copyright Received August 23, 11.35 p.m. 'Sydney, Last Night. The racehorse Milan died aboard the Ulimaroa.
The course committee of the Taranaki Jockey Club is effecting certain improvements and getting tlie bourse and grounds into excellent trim for the Hunt Club races on the Ist prox. The alterations in the course have necessitated shifting the judge's box over a little. Between now and the Xmas meeting all the inside rails are to be painted white.
