FIRES.
AN AUCKLAND OUTBREAK. By Telegraph.—Press Association. Auckland, Last Night. An outbreak of fire occurred in Ilenry Roulston's fruit shop and dwelling at Pukekohe this morning, and the building was burnt to the ground. The owner was awakened by the noise of the lire about 2.30 a.m., and he at once roused the inmates, who had just time enough to get out. It started at the back of the house, presumably near the chimney. Mr. lloulston lost the whole of his furniture and stock. The insurances are in the New Zealand Insurance Company.
