SOUTH ISLAND MAIN TRUNK
A BIG DEPUTATION. By Telegraph.—Press Association. Christchurch, Last Night. It is anticipated that the deputation wfliich will wait on the Prime Minister on Monday to urge the vigorous prosecution of the South Island Main Trunk railway, will be about forty strong. This estimate includes the representatives of Blenheim, Pieton and Kaikoura. Mr. H. J. Marrine'r, vice-president of the Canterbury Chamber of Commerce nnd other Canterbury members of the depuration, leave for Wellington on Saturday night.
