GERMANS' AND CANADA'S NAVY. By Cable.—Press Association.—Copyright Received August 4, 9.30 p.m. Ottawa, August 4. Replying, to an address from German delegates at Regina, who pledged their Isons to join the Canadian Navy, Sir Wilfrid Laurier said he did not believe there was danger of war between Germany and Britain. "Why, in the name of common sense and international relations, should Germany quarrel with Britain, her best friend?" he asked.
