THE TURKISH LOAN
FRENCH TENDER ACCEPTED. By Cable. —Press Association. —Copyright Received August 1, 5.5 p.m. Constantinople, August 1. The Turkish Parliament voted two millions sterling for road repairs. The Government have now accepted a French tender for practically the whole amount, rejecting an equally favorable British tender, desiring to facilitate the Paris loan.
