KENNEL SHOW.
AT AUCKLAND. By Telegraph—Press Association. Auckland, Last Niglit. The Auckland Kennel Olub's Show was opened to-day, the number of entries constituting a record, over 300 dogs being 'kenneled. The quality was declared by the judges to be good. The results of the challenge classes are as follows: Borrois Dogs. Mrs. E. Harrison's Gentleman Joe. Bitches—Mr. G. Harrison's Josephine. Setters: (English dogs).—Messrs. Cook and Smith's Buirketliand Rock. Bitches— Messus. Griffiths and Mcintosh's Whitney Nell. Irish Dog. —Mr C. A. Scuffert's Barney. Bitch—Mr. W. Henchcliffe Simmon's Bungaree and Sheilah. Gordon Setter Dogs. Mr. James Keith's Ranger. Bitches—Mr. Chas. B. Elliott's Maori Girl. Bull Terriers.—Dogs—Mr. S. Hall's Dam Leno. Bitches—Mr. E. H. Vazey's Ghost. The Ladies' Bracelet was won by Miss Ida Smith's (Wellington) English terrier, Burkefland Hock, Mrs. W. J. Harper's Irish terrier, Lurgan Teefy, being second, and Mrs. J. H. White's blackpug, Black, Boy, third. I This claiss was largely entered' for, 27 of all breeds coming under the judge's eye. j
