EX-CONVICT TO MAKE STATEMENT. OLD STORY RE-TOLD. By Cable. —Press Association.—Copyright Received July 27, 12.20 a.m. London, July 26. The man who was mentioned in April "by Mr. George Kebbell, the solicitor wiho delfeuded the supposed "Jack tilie Kipper," has been visited by Dr. Winslow. He will make a statement before the Bow Street magistrates to-day that he was not connected with the '"Ripper" muirders, and denying mutilating women, for which he was sentenced to ten years' i imprisonment. He will add that the authors oi the outrages were "hooligans," who attacked him. Mr. Kebbell stated, in a letter to the Pall 'Mall Gazette, that he believed "Jack the Rippe-r" died of prison while undergoing imprisonment, and further tlhiat he was educated for the medical profession.
