DEATH FROM A FALL. By Telegraph. —Press Association. Gisborne, Yesterday. Dawid Robertson, who was admitted to Gisborne Hospital on the 13th instate the result of a fall while em'bairidng 031 the Tamwera at Napier on the previous night, died from internal injuries a.t the (hospital. Robertson, who was aged sixty-seven, was a passenger from England by the Tainui, anid was on the way to Auckland at the time of the accident to meet hie wife and son. A SUDDEN DEATH. Wellington, Last Night. John Thomas White, who 'had been a boarder at 14 Binham street for the last six years, 'died suddenly this morning. Deceased', who had been subjects to nts, was sitting in a chair in fron't of a fire when suddenly lie fell and' expired immediately. His body was taken to the morgue, Where an inquest will probably be heid. MAN SERIOUSLY INJURED. Wellington, Last Night. At an early hour this morning, Andrew Riddle, a married man, whose family resides at Petone, was seriously injured at Dimock's Bacon Factory at Ngahauranga. Riddle and another man were engaged in oiling the bearing of overhead machinery. Riddle lost Ihis balance and fell, head downward, to tlie concrete floor twenty or thirty feet beloav, fracturing his skull.and breaking an arm and several ribs. He was picked up unconscious' and brought into the hospital, where he lies in a critical condition. Riddle is 48 years of age, and has been in the employ of Dimock and Co. for a considerable time.
