.MMBANKING COMBINE WILL FIGHT. By Cable.—Press Association—Copyright Received July 24, 5.5 p.m. London, July 23. A powerful committee of English and Continental bankers resolved not to accept cotton bills unless accompanied by guarantees of the genuineness of the bills of lading. The resolution was cabled to the bankers of the United States, and probably a conference will be held.
