THE ACCUSED Es T COURT. By Telegraph.—Press Association. Dunedin, Last Night. As a sequel to the disturbance in Princes-street on Saturday night, four men appeared before the Police Court to-day to answer the following charges: John Wilson, drunkenness, obscene language, anrl resisting the police; David Wilson, obstructing the police, obscene language, assaulting and resisting the police TCliarles Graham, obstructing and assaulting the police; Walter ißae iSpence. drunk and disorderly and inciting to create assault. I The trouble started with the arrest of John Wilson on a charge of drunkenness. When the police endeavored 'to get him into a cab his brother appeared on the scene, and, it is stated, assaulted Constable Sweeney. Something like three hundred people took part in the disturbance that followed. The disturbance was continued in the streets for about an hour and a-half. and SubTnspector Phair stated in Court that more men would j T et be called ■on to answer the charges. AH the accused were remanded till Friday, bail beiw allowed to each man in his own recognisance of £SO and two sureties of €25 each.
