L. A. NOLAN & CQ.'S REPORT. Poultry.—Oil Saturday we had a large entry. There was a very good demand and prices showed an advance. Purebred stuff sold exceptionally well. We quote: Hens, ordinary Is 4d to Is lid, fat Is 9d to 2s 4d, pullets to 3s 9d, cockerels (table) Is 9d [to 2s 7d, purebred do. to '4s, roosters ls>6d to Is lOd, ducks Is M ta 2s 4d, purebred Pekih do., ducks ss, drakes 7s, turkeys 4s 6d. Fruit.—lsland oranges and bananas arrived on Monday and found a good market. Bananas 12s 6d to 14s, oranges 8s to 9s 3d, apples, dessert 7s to 9d, cookers 5s to 6s 3d. NEW PLYMOUTH RETAIL PRICE&.
