MISHAP TO WHANGAPE. •PROPELLER LOST. By Cable—Press Received July 4, 1.20 a.m. Sydney, Last Night. The steamer Whangape, hound for Newcastle to load for New Zealand, while off Broken Bay at 2 O'clock this morning, lost her propeller, and was in danger of being blown to sea by the heavy westerly blowing. Her signals of distress were observed by the steamer Newcastle, which succeeded in getting a towline aboard. She towed the Wlnragape to Sydney. AN OVERDUE LINER. Melbourne, July'2.
