HAWKES'. BAY RIVERS. By Telegraph—Press Association. Napier, Last Night. The eommittee in connection with the proposed central river board, resolved to-day, "That a commission be formed to view the district, and to take evidence from old and experienced settlers on the rivers question, with a view ultimately to devising a comprehensive scheme for dealing with them by a central board. WELLINGTON CUSTOMS REVENUE. Wellington, Last Night. The Customs revenue collected in Wellington • for the quarter just ended amounted to £168,571 0s lOd, the beer duty totalling £3198 Os sd. For 1909 the figures were: Customs, £147,780 13s; beer duty, £3338 10s 3d.
