Napier, Last Night. A man named William George Hewson, aged sixty-three years, who had pleaded guilty at Wairoa to a charge of attempted criminal assault on a little girl, was to-day sentenced by Mr. Justice EdwarrV seven years' imprisonment, witli___.i labor. The prisoner had been convicted of a similar offence just thirty years ago.
