ATHLETICS.
WANGANUI CALEDONIAN SOCIETY. By Telegraph—Press Association. Wanganui, Last Kight. The Wanganui Caledonian Society tonight considered the question of eliminating from future programmes all professional running events. The unanimous opinion was in favor of this toeing done, and the matter was left in the hands 'of the committee. This is an outcome of the trouble experienced last year with the Athletic Union.
