A BUSH FATALITY. ' iiy Telegraph—Press Association. Pahiatua, Thursday. A man named Arthur J. Nicol, who met with a serious accident at a sawmill at Nireaha last Thursday and was brought to the Pahiatua hospital, died this morning from the effect of his injuries. ' A LESSON FOR MOTHERS. Christchurch, Thursday. •A two-year-old boy named Arthur Richards, whose parents reside at St. Albans, was admitted to the hospital on Tuesday suffering from burns. In the absence of his mother the child got near the fireplace, from \yhich a lighted paper fell and ignited his clothing. The child died this morning from shock.
