NEW WORKS AND VOTES. By Telegraph—Press Association. Wellington, Lust Night. At a meeting of Cabinet to-day it was decided to invite plar.; and specifications for a new St. hospital at Christchurch, and for a r. ,v railway station at Putaruni, Auckland. Tenders were accepted for a new post office at Levin, jand a new police station at Dannevirke. A contract was accepted for piers of cylinder bridge at Mokikinui, West Coast. Railway construction votes, amounting to £49,000, were authorised, also £2600 for railway material. The sum of £IO,OOO was voted in connection with the Hutt railway, and £SOOO for duplication requirements.
