ST. AUBYN TOWN BOARD

A special mooting of the St. Aubyns Town Board was held at the West End schoolroom last evening. There were present: Mew*. Blanchard (in the chair), Hudson, Patt and W. G. Fnssell. Leave of absence was granted to Mr. Lealand. Correspondence was dealt with as follows: — From the .Minister of Internal Affairs, acknowledging receipt of letter re election of Hoard. From M. L. Spencer, re engineer to Board—Letter to be acknowledged. The chairman's action in accepting Parkin's offer of metal up to 100 yds. was confirmed. It was resolved that the chairman be authorised to get prices from different contractors to supply about 300 yds. of metal, with power to accept one if considered suitable. Accounts to the amount of £4B 18s Id were passed for payment. An accident insurance policy is to be taken out in the Commercial Union.
