ACCIDENTS AND FATALITIES
A BODY IDENTIFIED. By Telegraph—Press Association. Auckland, June 2. The body found in the harbor on Monday has been identified as that of Alfred Robert Greenway, aged sixty years, who practised as a solicitor in Auckland some years ago. At one time he possessed considerable property. A SEAMAN'S DEATH. Wellington, Yesterday. James Tall, a seaman belonging to the steamer Aorere, fell off Queen's Wharf late on Tuesday night. His body was recovered to-day. The deceased, who was forty-seven years of age, was a native of Plymouth. It is believed lie is not married. MARINE ENGINEER INJURED. Wellington, Last Night. Mr. G. Cunningham, third engineer of the steamer Wairuna. while working in the engine room to-day, was' struck in, one of his eyes by a splinter of steel. He underwent an operation later for removal of the eve.
