NEW ZEALAND'S COMMANDANT
CAPABLE OFFICER MAY COME. By Telegraph—Press Association. Christchurch, Night. The Prime Minister has received a confidential communication from the High Commissioner relative to the new commandant for the Dominion recommended ■by Lord Kitchener. This will be placed before Cabinet, and Sir Joseph Ward hopes at an early date to announce the selection of a very capable officer.
