LORD PLUNKETT'S FAREWELL
HIS ITINERARY. By Telegraph —Press Association. Christehurch, Last Night. His Excellency the Governor this morning was waited upon by members of the management committee of the New Zealand Cricket Council, and -presented with the tall with which the rocord score was made in the Plunket Shield match, Auckland v. Otago, in February last. At 5 p.m. to-day, at the Provincial Council Chambers, His Excellency held a farewell levee, and left this evening for Wellington. To-morrow, in Wellington. His Excellency will attend a Masonic function in the afternoon, and a civic farewell will (be tendered >to him in the Town Hall in the evening. On Thursday Lord Plunket 'holds a farewell levee,' and in the morning receives an address from New Zealand architects. On Friday His Excellency leaves for Auckland, and holds a levee in that city •on Saturday. Lord Plunket leaves Auckland on Monday.
