A WOMAN'S SUDDEN END. By Telegraph—Press Association. Palmerston North, May 27. An elderly woman named Rosaline James dropped dead in King Street yesterday afternoon. Almost as soon as assistance came to hand, and before n doctor could be summoned, she expired. The cause of death is unknown. Deceased had not 'been under mecical attendance for several years, but some time ago was heard to complain of pains in the regious of the heart. She was a married woman living apart from her husband. She leaves two sons and a daughter. IA SHOOTING FATALITY. Wellington, Yesterday. John Russell, who was admitted to the Wellington Hospital on .Sunday afternoon suffering from an accidental gun shot wound, died yesterday evening. He was out shooting at Makara with his brother-in-law, Moran. The latter slipped, and his gun went off, the charge lodging in Russell's body above one of the hips.
