PRIMARY ELECTION BILL, By Cable—Press Association —Copyright. Received May 20, 10.35 p.m. New York, May 26. The Primary Election Bill, which is milder in it? term? and scope than the original Bill promoted by Mr. Hughes, passed the Xew York' State Senate with Tammany's help. It is generally considered inadequate and likely to be vetoed. It is expected the Republican bosses will recompense Tammany by defeating the Bills against race tracks and gambling.
