(By "Spectator.") In al! matches an endeavor is to be made to adopt the "five yards" rule in line-outs. This can be done only by the consent of both captains. Robertson, of Okato, has dropped out of the Star seniors, owing to the inconvenience of travel. T. Hopkins has been sent up to first grade again. One or two others can safely be sent down a grade before "Tommy." There's a good bit of "ginger" in him. ana ginger is what many of the Star forwards lack. From 30th June the Saturday footballers' ranks should be strengthened by the closing of the legal offices on Saturdays. The innovation will go hard with the Star seniors, for there are several legal lights in the team.
