OUR RAILWAY PROGRESS
A BIG BUILDING PROGRAMME. By Telegraph—Press Association. Wellington, Yesterday. The Railway Department will take over 125 miles of new line from the Public Works Department this year. Ten tank engines of the W.F .class, ten compound engines of the B class, and ten A engines are being constructed, besides which 1000 waggons for various descriptions of goods traffic are included in the building programme for the vear.
