THE STKAMER KOl REFLOATED. By Telegraph—Press Association. Nelson, Last Night. The steamer Koi, which foundered near the entrance of the harbor some time ago. was raised on Sunday and towed to port. The hull was not seriously damaged, and the mails were recovered intact, POWELTCA DEFENCE FUND. N Palmerston North, Last Night. A letter forwarded to the Mana-wft-tu Daily Times encloses subscriptions towards the public defence, fund for Powelka, with a view to securing Mr J Wilford to defend him on the murder charge.
