At a meeting of brokers and buyers of Covent Garden markets it was resolved to call the attention of the Australian and Tasmanian Agents-General ti the ipresent system of lightering fruit, which is detrimental to the interests both of growers and the trade. Owing to delay caused in delivery buyers will give preference to salesmen able to give prompt delivery.
