Premium rates were lowered as from the Ist April on ordinary first-class risks from 10s to 8s .per cent'.,' and rates on first-class factory dairy factory risks Bs, second-class I.ls, thirdclass 20s.
At a .meeting held to-day the retrring directors were all re-elected, and satisfaction was expressed with the present position, and belief that the reduction of premiums will result in increased ■business.
