THE PEOPLE'S FOOD. By Telegraph—Press Association. Wellington. April 29. At the Magistrate's Court to-day E. H Crease and Co. were fined 40s and costs for selling pepper adulteratedi with starch. ] S. S. Paterson and Co., for selling baking 'powder containing a greater proportion of sulphates than allowed by Jaw, were fined 20s and costs. S. McKenzie was lined 20s and costs for selling milk adulterated with water.
