AUCKLAND DRAWING IN TIIK LADIES. By Telegraph—Press Association. Auckland. Last Night. A crowded meeting of ladies was held in the Art Society's rooms this afternoon in connection with the Knyvc.t case. Mr. C. IT. Poole, M.P.. and others spoke. In order to provide the necessary funds to enable the facts of the case to he put before the whole of the Dominion, the ladies decided to take up a street collection on Saturday. 7th May. The speakers laid stress on (he fact that they were fighting in the hone that justice would he finally meted oiit to Captain Knyvett. and the la,lies decided that ''Justice" should he their watchword, and that the badge worn b\ the collectors have that word printed on them.
