WELLINGTON SESSIONS. By Telegraph —Press Association. Wellington, April 28. Four prisoners were sentenced by the Chief Justice to-day. Fred Lindsay Backhouse, a .young man, was admitted to probation on a charge of forgery a"id uttering; Peter Neilson and Harold Ketterer, against whom were previous convictions, were sentenced to twelve n.nd nine months' imprisonment respectively on charges of breaking and filtering; Thomas Burns, on a similar charge, was admitted to probation.
